Ulysse Nardin

Founded in Le Locle by Ulysse Nardin, the firm supplied over 50 navies with deck chronometers and holds 4,300 Neuchâtel Observatory certificates. Rescued by Rolf Schnyder in 1983, it debuted the Freak (2001), introducing silicon escapements to Swiss watchmaking. Collections such as Marine, Diver and Blast pair nautical DNA with flying tourbillons and minute repeaters; management reacquired independence from Kering in 2022.
