Overview
Description
Established in 1853 in Le Locle by Charles‑Félicien and Charles‑Émile Tissot, the brand merged with Omega in 1930 and later joined the Swatch Group. Tissot pioneered the first anti‑magnetic watch (1930), rock‑case RockWatch (1985) and tactile‑screen T‑Touch (1999). Today it deploys Swatch‑Group Powermatic 80 movements, is official timekeeper for cycling, MotoGP and the NBA, and positions itself as “innovators by tradition.”
